CSV to nested JSON

Map CSV columns into nested JSON, group repeated rows, and review every mapping before converting locally.

Up to 20 columns and 10,000 rows. Values remain strings, including identifiers and quantities.

Optional AI interpretation

Manual processing stays in your browser. Ask Jev sends the following to our server and TypeSafe: headers, up to five sample rows, the desired JSON example and your instructions. Use non-sensitive samples. We do not add accounts, save your inputs, or send form contents to analytics.

AI proposals can be wrong. Review editable settings before processing. If Jev is unavailable, the manual tool still works.

Group CSV rows without writing a transformation script

A flat converter creates one JSON object per row. This tool also supports grouping a parent record and collecting child records into one array. Paste one representative parent object as the desired shape; each leaf becomes an editable source-column mapping.

Example: one customer, several items

Repeated Customer values such as 001 become one parent. Map SKU to items[].sku and Qty to items[].quantity. Every child row is retained, including duplicates. Conflicting parent values and blank grouping keys are rejected rather than silently dropped.

Scope and limits

Up to 20 columns, 10,000 rows, nested objects and one child-array path. All values remain strings: quantities are not coerced, and leading-zero identifiers remain intact. Constants, arbitrary scripts, multiple child arrays, automatic deduplication and general schema inference are not supported. Jev proposes a mapping from your example and instructions; you remain responsible for reviewing it.
