Fix mixed spreadsheet dates
Normalize a mixed date column, preserve partial dates, and flag ambiguous values before exporting a reviewed CSV.
Paste text from the original source when possible. Already-swapped dates cannot always be recovered.
Jev interprets source context only. You confirm the convention; code validates calendar dates. Output is ISO order; missing precision is preserved.
Optional AI interpretation
Manual processing stays in your browser. Ask Jev sends the following to our server and TypeSafe: up to 20 sample dates and your source-context text. Use non-sensitive samples. We do not add accounts, save your inputs, or send form contents to analytics.
AI proposals can be wrong. Review editable settings before processing. If Jev is unavailable, the manual tool still works.

Formatting a cell is not the same as repairing its date
Spreadsheet imports can interpret some dates as numbers and leave others as text. Paste original date strings here to preview their meaning before another import. Unspecified numeric dates such as 03/04/2026 remain for review; selecting day-first or month-first is an explicit interpretation, not a cosmetic display change.
What gets preserved?
Year-only and year-month values retain their precision. Invalid dates, missing information and unsupported formats are reported alongside the original text. The tool does not invent a day, fix corrupted historical values, or infer a timezone.
Supported input and importing the result
ISO dates, four-digit-year day/month or month/day strings, and English month names are supported. Excel serial numbers, two-digit years and timestamps are outside this first version. Import the output using your spreadsheet’s import workflow and explicitly select the intended date convention. CSV does not store spreadsheet formatting, so reopening it can trigger fresh inference by Excel. Inspect your import preview.
Jev is optional: use it when the source context needs interpretation, not for ordinary calendar arithmetic. It suggests a convention from your description; it cannot determine missing facts from an ambiguous date alone.
